Relay

Starting relay competitors wait for the gun to go off. When it comes time to hand off the relay and if the athlete is the one who hands it off his/her arm is outstretched and palm points down. He/she should look forward to the approaching runner who brings the baton up. Relay is an excellent means of developing physical and psychological abilities and forming team spirit among runners.
