Exercises
One of our most fundamental tasks when teaching beginners is to develop their strength and force. We should make athletes aware of the importance of force and velocity. The throwing process triggers resistance thus affects muscles, joints and skeletal system of athletes. Therefore it is evident that throwers have to get used to exertion.
The initial warm up exercises can be done with and without equipment. These exercises and work outs support to loosen muscles and joints. Work-outs aiming to develop physical strength are suggested only when athletes have already practiced a lot (Koltai, 1975).
