Imitating

I have intended to collect exercises which may not be applied in practice

Limping spider

Lift hip from seat and lift left or right leg. Walk on “three legs” forward, backward, and to the right and left. Lift left and right leg, altering legs.

Walking on knees

While kneeling lift your heels and walk on your knees forward. It can be practiced while you grab your heels. It can be practised either on the floor or a mat.

Penguin

Straddle then squat, push your elbows backward between your legs and grab your ankles with fingers facing forward (thumb is inside) then try stepping, walking forward.

Needle and thread

Seat and fingers are squeezed into each other and push felt (right) leg between your arms, then pull them back again. Do it by altering legs.

Scorpio

This exercise is suggested to boys. Stand in straddle, bend knees then bend torso forward and support the body at shoulders level between legs. Hook your leg or knee over your elbows. Turn out the elbows and lean forward and lift your hip and legs from the floor and stand on hands.
