Initial warm up drills and exercises

  1. Bending the torso
  2. Calf stretch, hamstring stretch
  3. Standing up from Turkish seat without using the arms
  4. Covering certain distances with longer strides
  5. Stomach turns from sitting position to and fro, without putting legs and arm down
  6. Holding the feet in tucked foot position, stretching out the feet without setting them loose
  7. In hurdling seat altering feet without the help of arms
  8. Feet wide apart, hips move forward, heels are held
  9. Feet wide apart on the lower degree of gymnastics wall bar. Climbing up the wall/ladder until students can hold themselves
  10. Standing in a closed position, bending the torso forward with a clap behind the ankles
