The ring

1-2 years

  1. The ring should be tossed up and caught. Variants: catch the ring with the same or opposite hand.
  2. Numbered disc cone markers are located at a specified distance. In a relay race, the pupils should take the rings out one by one and place them on the disc cone markers, then run back and switch with their partner.
  3. The handoff from a distance. The teams are divided into equal halves; one half of the team goes to the other side of the room or designated area, facing the other half of the team. The first competitor of each team runs over to the other side and then hands over the ring to the partner who does the same on the other side. The competition continues until the participants are not replaced on the two sides. If we want to play longer, it can be continued until they get back to their original positions.
  4. See the previous exercise, only while running to the other side the participants have to duck under the hurdles placed an equal distance from each other, and then hand off the baton.
  5. A running relay race: the participants take and bring back the rings balancing them on their heads and then pass them to the next participant.

3-4 years

  1. We place the numbered disc cone markers at different distances and assign them a point value indicated by their number. The participants throw the rings on the disc cone markers from behind a line, in an arbitrary style. The further they throw them, the more points they gain.
  2. In pairs, one member of the pair tosses up the ring and the other has to catch it with an exercise stick.
  3. We place the disc cone markers at equal distances and in half-distance between the disc cone markers we place low hurdles on the left side. The first runner runs to the first disc cone marker, gets round it, runs over the hurdle and back to change with the partner. The second runner runs to the second disc cone marker, gets round it, then over two hurdles, and back, etc.
  4. The disc cone markers are placed at equal distance from each other. Two pupils stand in line with the middle disc cone marker.
On the starting signal, the first of them starts running, slaloming between the disc cone markers, with a ring in his/her hand, until s/he returns to his/her partner, who is waiting, standing in place.

5-6 years

  1. With a flat throw, the rings have to be thrown onto the disc cone markers, placed at different distances. The color measuring tape can be used to measure distance.
  2. Standing in pairs, one member tosses the ring up and the other tries to catch it onto his arm.
  3. Standing in pairs, one member throws the ring with a flat throw, the other tries to catch it onto his arm.
  4. In a relay race, rolling the ring along a given distance.
  5. The ring, after a flat throw, should hit the target painted on the wall
  6. We place the disc cone markers at equal distance from each other and in half-distance between the disc cone markers we place high hurdles on the left side. The first runner runs to the first disc cone marker, gets round it, runs over the hurdle on hter letf side and back to change with the partner. The second runner runs to the second disc cone marker, gets round it, then over two hurdles, and back, etc.
  7. On the starting signal, the first of them starts running, slaloming between the disc cone markers, with a ring in his/her hand, until s/he returns to his/her partner, who starts running. The handoff of the ring should take place until they reach the last disc cone marker.
  8. In pairs, using one or two rings, the partner should pull over the selected sign.
