Partners stand next to each other

The jump rope exercises may also be performed so that partners stand next to each other; they hold the rope in the outer hands while they link inner arms or hold each other’s shoulder

  1. Jumping; turning the rope forward at every second jump

  2. The previous exercise, turning the rope backward

  3. Jumping, continuously turning the rope forward. The same backward.

  4. Exercises 1 and 2, with a change of rhythm, pace

  5. Exercise 1, with the movement forward

  6. Jumping next to each other, turning the rope slowly forward, and then both skippers jump out and put the outer arm across their body and perform the side-swing twice; then they turn back and continue to jump in the middle. The exercise may be carried out so that the pupils jump in one after another amidst the rope and there they perform one jump, or more.

  7. The pupils perform side swings in the middle, with the hand that is closest. The pupil standing on the left side takes the rope to the other hand and, leaping into the middle, jumps twice over the rope, then, taking the rope over to the other hand, jumps out, performs two side swings, then the student standing on the right side jumps twice over the rope.

  8. Jumping next to each other; after the fourth jump the pupil on the right side puts his/her outer arm across his/her body, and the pupil standing next to him/her jumps over the rope four times, then jumps back over the rope and they continue to jump together again, then they change roles.
