The partners stand opposite each other

The partners stand opposite each other, each holding one end of a single rope.

They stand at such distance from each other that the rope should touch the ground, and its highest points should be above the pupils’ heads.

  1. The partners, standing opposite each other turn the rope and perform 360 degrees turns, one after another; they do not jump but only continue to swing the rope. The turns may be carried out at the same time.

  2. One pupil (the rope holder) performs a full turn, while his/her partner is jumping over the rope. They switch roles.

  3. One of the partners leaps under the rope and begins to jump, then makes a 360 degree turn and at the same times takes the ropes over form one hand to the other.

  4. The pupils turn the rope with their right hands, from the left to the right. After a few turns one of the rope holding students, with a 90 degrees turn, „moves in" in the direction of the hand turning the rope and close to the rope itself, and begins to jump, then, while jumping, performs a 360 degree turn and „moves out" in the same direction.

  5. The pupils turn the rope with the right hand, from the right to the left, then, after two turns, one of the pupils moves in, after two jumps another pupils moves in, and then they jump together four times, and they leap out, away from the rope.

  6. As in the previous exercise, but the pupils move in simultaneously under the rope, and there they jump together, and together they move out.

  7. The partners turn the rope facing each other, and jump under the rope in turns, and they continue to jump, using a basic jump and a criss-cross.

  8. The partners face each other; one of the pupils makes the partner jump in the middle, then puts the rope in a criss-cross position in front of the other pupil and makes the other jump over the rope in a criss-cross position.

  9. The pupils turn the rope with the right hand, from the left to the right, then after two rounds, move in the centre under the rope and jump together. They perform a side-swing on the left and on the right side, they perform a basic swing, and they both perform a criss-cross in front of their partner and jump over the rope.

  10. The partners take turns and jump in the middle, there they perform a few jumps, and then they pass the rope from one hand to the hand under one of their legs. They may also change roles.

  11. The partners turn the rope facing each other, then at the same time they move inside, under the rope, and continue to turn the rope with crossed hands. They perform two or three jumps and move out.
