The gymnastics box

I will not only show exercises with the help of a step pad, but I will also demonstrate tasks on the gymnastics box, well known in physical education classes.

I find it important because the box and the step pad are not of the same height, so greater attention needs to be paid to getting adapted to the different sizes of the devices, which develops the ability to concentrate.

The routine of stepping up and down on a variable-height step pad develops the muscles of legs and buttocks, and strengthens ankles, knees and hip joints.

Also, the lack of a step pad can be compensated with a gymnastics box.

The progressive step or gymnastics box exercise materials do not follow the structure of traditional step aerobics classes.

It is a combination of continuous steps up and down, performed to music, progressing forward and to the side, combined with basic steps of step aerobics, and different arm movements.

The exercises are compiled on the basis of the principle of gradualism. Starting from the simple basic steps, without arm work, they progresses towards more complex step combinations and harder arm work. For the safe implementation of exercises 118-126 BPM music is recommended.

The step pads and boxes have been placed in two rows, illustrating the different height of the equipment.
