In pairs with one ball

Pupils stand facing each other, the distance should be adequate to their age and experience.

  • Three steps in place, on the forth count pass the ball – bouncing, kicking – to the partner.
  • Three running steps in place, on the fourth count pass the ball – bouncing, kicking – to the partner.
  • Jump in place three times, on the fourth count, pass the ball with both hands from the chest – bouncing, or throwing it – to your partner.

  • Do jumping jacks, pass the ball – bouncing it, to your partner.

  • Do lunges backward or to the side, pass the ball – bouncing it, to your partner.

  • Step-touch to one side, pass the ball, bouncing it to your partner.

  • Double step-touch, bouncing the ball and passing it to your partner.
  • Jump in place, kicking lower legs forward, then kick the ball to your partner with the right leg, then with the left, while your partner is doing the same.

  • One participant is continuously jumping, kicking with the lower legs; then he receives the ball from the partner, stops it with the left foot, and passes it on with the right foot.

  • The exercises above can be varied and performed with two balls as well. In that case it has to be decided which participant will pass the ball to their partner and in what way.
