The foam hurdle (children’s hurdle)
1-2 years
- Front jumping over a low hurdle on both legs, jumping sideways over the second hurdle (preparing for a high jump)
- In a relay race the ball should be rolled under the hurdles
- In a relay race running over the hurdles
- Slalom run between the hurdles
- The hurdles are placed perpendicularly to the direction of the movement, the pupils jump over them from the side, once form the right side, once from the left side.
- A hurdle race competition, in one or two directions.
- Walking over the hurdles, with cones on the heads. The goal: the cones should not fall down.
3-4 years
- Running over the hurdles (alternately, over low and high hurdles)
- Jumping series over the hurdles
- We place the hurdle next to a beam or at one side of a mat. In a standing long jump, this helps to raise the center of gravity after gaining momentum.
- ’Stork walking’ over the hurdles, with a cone on the top of the head.
5-5 years
- Dribbling the ball over a low hurdle.
- Using the scissors technique, jumping over all the hurdles, sideways.
- We place the hurdle next to a beam or at one side of a mat. In a standing long jump, this helps to raise the center of gravity after gaining momentum.
- Jumping series, over hurdles of alternating heights.
