The jumping-rope exercises
Hézsőné Böröcz Andrea
The most important risk factor of cardiovascular diseases – life-style wise – is physical inactivity. The role of physical education in schools is decisive in the elimination of this risk factor. It is important that children at early age familiarize themselves with such forms of movement which ensure physical activity, provide proper workload on the body, and in addition, are enjoyable and provide a sense of achievement or success.
The jumping-rope exercises meet the requirements listed above as they ensure adequate exposure of the organism to workload, and the development of conditional and coordination skills.
