Substitution handball

We form the teams and mark the playing field. The playing field is a handball court. We mark one of the teams with a ribbon or stripe. The teams are further divided into groups. Therefore both teams will have number “ones”, “twos” and “threes”. The teams are seated outside the side line of their side. We decide which team start the game by casting lots. The referee calls one number from the three groups: “Twos”. Then those players come to the playing field whose number is two. The game starts by a throw-off, and they play until the referee stops the game by three whistles and he calls another number. At the sign of the whistle, the players immediately leave the playing field, and the groups that are called take their places, and they continue the game where it was interrupted. The winner is the team whose players score more goals in total.

Rules of the game

  1. We apply the rules of handball.
  2. The players can enter and leave the playing field anywhere along the side line, not only at the place of substitution.
