Shooting on goal individually

When practising shooting on goal, we should try to make students perform as many shooting on goal as possible. Therefore it is useful make students shoot in columns of 3, 4 or 5. It is also more effective from the point of pressure, as students can shoot more often, and the resting period is shorter. Instead of a goal, we can also use boxes, as we can see in the picture below.

If the size and the facilities of the hall allow it, we can practise shooting on goal as a complex task. For instance, we can connect it to dribbling, going around a tool, or hopping exercises. The various exercises can be done before shooting (as it can be seen in the following picture), after shooting, or before and after shooting too.

If possible, we should practise shooting on goal together with a goalkeeper. When shooting on goal in several tracks, we can apply a goalkeeper only if we can put a goal at the end of every track. We can also use a mattress as a goal, as we can see in the following picture.
