3 students and one rope

Exercises with 3 students and one rope. The rope holding pupils replace each other at every practice. Everyone should be in any position.

  1. One of the pupils (with the rope) continues to jump and at every second beat he turns the rope; the other pupil moves in facing him/her and they jump together, then a third pupil joins behind the rope holding pupil and they jump together four times. Then they move out, one after another.

  2. Two pupils stand facing each other, holding the ends of a prolonged rope. The third participant is standing before the rope and starts to jump; at every second jump the partners pass the rope under the third participant's feet.

  3. The previous exercise, in the opposite direction.
  4. As in the previous two exercises, but the pupil in the middle performs turns in any direction while jumping.

  5. As in the previous exercises, only the rope turns at every jump.
  6. Two pupils stand facing each other, and start turning the rope to the left. The third pupil stands next to the right shoulder of one of the pupils holding the rope, and when the rope is moving away and is on the rise, s/he runs under the rope, to the right side of the other pupil holding the rope.

  7. As in the previous exercise, but instead of running through to the other side, the third pupil moves in and begins to jump.

  8. Two pupils are turning the rope, the third pupil moves in from the side and begins to jump. One of the pupils holding the rope joins him/her and starts to jump, then the third pupils joins, and they hump together. They move out one after the other.

  9. Two pupils face each other and start turning the rope to the left. The third pupils positions her/him self in front one of the pupils holding the rope, and as the rope swings, s/he starts to jump. While jumping, s/he can perform:
    • Alternate knee lifting
    • alternate heel lowering
    • lower leg swing forward
    • moving legs apart and closing them
    • Can-can dance
  10. Two pupils are turning the rope, the third pupil moves in from one side and performs three jumps twice, then s/he moves out across to the other pupil and takes the rope from him/her. That pupil moves in, jumps and moves out across to the other pupils from whom he takes the rope, that pupils moves in, performs jumps, and so on.
