III.3.1. Dynamic sitting

As the ball does not touch the ground at fixed points, maintaining balance is only possible with the constant and dynamic coordination of the muscles of the trunk. This so-called dynamic sitting offers constant, but not strenuous back training, which improves posture and does not burden the joints and soft tissues. Therefore, it cannot only be used during fitness trainings, but to replace office chairs. Schools have been furnished with exercise balls in several countries. The balls are high-quality, durable and available in different sizes so that anyone can use them for exercising and workout.
