I. BEACH GAMES

Beach is a place for leisure, careless fun and recreation. Exercise, games and sports are essential to it. Waterfront and ball games along with the special environment make beaches interesting and appealing places for individuals and groups of people. The majority of games played on beaches are pair or team games, played according to the mood of the person or the company, the weather and the facilities provided by the beach. Beach versions of sports games serve as entertaining summer activities, done by friends for the sake of common fun. These games do not require major preparations, and provide joyful entertainment.  Football tennis, streetball, and beach volley courts are already common parts of the built environments at beaches.  Proper conditions for other games are also possible to set up.

Beach volleyball is widely considered as the “King of Beaches”, but more and more new games, such as beach soccer, beach handball and the increasingly popular korfball have taken their places among entertaining summer sports.
