III.1. Aerobics

Aerobics is one of the most popular, quickly developing and colourful sports, that got in the spotlight through the increasing need to lead a healthy lifestyle. All of this must be credited to the full range of its advantages over other sports (it can be done everywhere, moderate requirements in equipment, exceptional variability) and its health benefits. It is easy to integrate it not only into the routine of fitness gyms but also into the exercises of physical education classes and afternoon workouts. The interests and needs of the age groups in public education have changed. Modern, informal exercises are preferred over traditional sports among students. Exercises with music meet these new needs.

 It is important to point out that learning the exercises of the class types with instruments (step aerobics, fit-ball aerobics, soccerobics) requires general competence and confidence in aerobic exercises and experience in conducting aerobics classes.
