Pull/push over the line
Number of participants: in pairs or two groups
Necessary equipment: tatami or carpets, stopwatch
Skills: strength, body combat
The pairs line up facing each other in combat position. There is a borderline between the pairs, which can be the center line, for example. The partners hold on to each other’s shoulders. There are two other designated borderlines behind the partners a couple of meters away from them.
Aim: to push the partner over the second line, which marks the boundary of the game area.
Rules:
- It is forbidden to sit down or deliberately let go of the partner.
- Also to turn around or suddenly pull the partner.
- Crossing or reaching the boundary line is valid if it is true for both feet.
Variations:
- The task may be to pull (instead of push) the partner over the line.
- The game can be played by only holding on to each other with one hand.
