Arm pulling

Number of participants: the whole class, in pairs

Necessary equipment: tatami or carpets, stopwatch

Skills: balance, skillfulness, strength

Pairs line up facing each other in push-up position close to each other.

Aim: to pull out one of the arms of the partner (arms can only be touched at the wrist) to make the partner put down body parts (elbows, knees, chest)

Rules:

  1. It is forbidden to put the knees down or to lift the hips to move the center of body weight.

Variations:

  1. Pulling the partner’s neck instead of the arm. The aim is the same as before.
  2. Play the game with a stopwatch or until first winner.
  3. Instead of pulling the arms the aim can be changed to touching the partner’s hand.
