Dr. Ferenc Bóka, Dr. Margit Borkovits, Péter Dorka, Andrea Lehmann-Dobó: Indoor-outdoor sports
Get up if you can
Number of participants: the whole class, in pairs
Necessary equipment: any designated area
Skills: strength, getting used to proximity, balance
Pairs should be made up of members with similar body build. They sit down with their backs to each other, the backs are pressed against each other, arms clasped together at the elbows.
Aim: to get up as fast as they can
Variations:
- We can designate an active member and a passive member in the task. The active member tries to get up, while the passive one hinders him/her.
- The game can be started from different positions.
- We can change the starting position of only one of the members.
- We can make this a competition within the pair: who gets up first?
- We can measure the time from starting position to getting up or getting back to starting position.
