Footfighting

Number of participants: the whole class, in pairs

Necessary equipment: tatami or carpets, stopwatch

Skills: strength, balance

The pairs line up facing each other. They sit down, the arms support the body behind the backs and the partners put their feet together by raising their legs (slightly bent).

Aim: on a mark the partners try to push each other out of the balanced position (to roll backwards or fall sideways)

Rules:

  1. Do not raise the hips from the ground.
  2. It is not allowed to lean backwards or put the elbows down.
