Summary

The regular physical activities of children and teenagers have been appreciated recently. Although it is well known that one of the basic conditions of healthy way of life is active and intensive physical exercises, but nowadays we can witness children’s and teenagers’ inactivity. The time spent in front of screens decreases the opportunities of doing some kind of sports therefore the chance of developing some protection against addictions and harmful behaviour is getting smaller.

We should bear in our mind how crucial it is in education to raise children’s and teenagers’ attention to the importance of sports both inside and outside of classrooms. Competitive sports within sports club support this endeavour. After studying the outcomes of studies and surveys it can be stated that with the help of professionals’ injuries can be decreased and at the same time the positive impact of competitive sports on health and on our mind and body has become evident.
