Genes regarding body compositions

The composition of body mass refers to the percentages of fat and muscle shown by the body mass index (BMI) and it is an important factor of sport performance. The variants of adrenergic receptor genes (ADRA2A, ADRB1, ADRB2) affect energy use, lipolysis and the biological processes of thermo-genesis while causing fat accumulation. Concerning the DNS profile of genes relating to body mass the physical activities are not enough to loose weight, maintain a good BMI rate and achieve high sports results. Professionals can carry out not only anthropometric- and biochemical measurements but they can also suggest diets supporting athletes to become high achievers.
