Polar heart rate monitor

The basic philosophy of Polar heart rate monitor is to help athletes’ exercise regimen and customize them to their own particular type of exercises. It is actually a training computer. It can measure 10 individuals’ heart rate values at the same time for 24 hours. It measures average and maximum heart rates and target zones can be set for personal training based on beats per minute and maximum heart rate. Polar energy pointer tells weather athletes use more of their training time on calorie and fat burning. It counts calories across each session. It has a special code transmission thus data transfer to the training computer is available. A Software belonging to Polar teams system is used.  The graphical target indicator shows what zones the training falls into. Samples are taken in every 5 seconds. The Own Zone test is capable to get information if athletes are doing too much or too little and helps adjusting training load to individuals’ degree of intensity. In the warm up session it takes 1-5 minutes to define Own Zone.
