Self-qualification of health

This simple and easily applied measuring and evaluating method reflects objective information about individuals’ health and their subjective views to heir future life. It is influenced by many factors, for example, age, social and economic status and physical activity etc. According to the outcomes it is boys brought up in good financial conditions who qualify their health favourably. It has also become evident that physical activity means better qualification but this research has involved only boys:

  • who are active in their free time and their opinions about their own health are much better (Tremblay at al, 2003, Hosseini at al, 2013, Kahlin at al, 2009)
  • the relationship with these two factors was stronger in case of boys (Galán at al, 2013, Elinder at al, 2011).
