Dynamometer

Dynamometer: besides video recordings biomechanics analyses is the most frequently used device. The pressure sensor platforms measure the reaction power/force of ground/soil. The amount of force detected by the sensors serves information about the time and size of power exerted to ground. One type of dynamometer platform is the one that works on the principles of piezo-effect (the change of electric resistance of metal affected by deformation) (Barton, 1983). Spring dynamometer is a study metal spring on a two-part mounting. One anchor is attached to the force intended to be measured and the size of the force can be read off a scale. The torque movement can be determined if the force size, motion axis rotation and the distance of force line are given. Computer controlled dynamometer is able to measure the mechanical force of muscles, torque and the angle change of joints.
