Phobia dependent eating disorder

Phobia dependent eating disorder tends to occur when children had negative experiences, such as vomiting and frequent toilet use (Oskada and et al, 2007). Before the occurrence of this disorder sufferers had normal eating habits. It is not characterised by body image disorder as patients are not afraid of the consequences of eating but they feel anxiety when they should eat. It may cause weight loss (Bryant-Waugh and Lask, 2007). Generally families try to force feeding these individuals but this reaction enhances to develop more symptoms, for example, vomiting, dizziness and nausea (Nicolls and Jaffa, 2007).
