The circuit training method developing stamina

During the stamina developing circuit training low and high intensity exercises are used in compliance with the principle of gradualism.

The circuit workout can be done so that in the first round, at each station, we carry out only low-intensity, easier exercises, while in the second round we perform only high intensity exercises. But we can also do the circuit training performing high intensity exercises at one of the stations and low intensity exercises at the next station. Or, we can also apply the so-called peripheral workout where we engage distant muscles at the stations. This is a more advanced type of training, which forces the heart to work very hard, since the blood always flows to the working muscles.
