Methods of teaching lifting and carrying

These types of practices mean carrying and lifting up, for example, bench, stool and mats in pairs or groups. When making our students execute these exercises we must take their age and competences as well as their skills and abilities into consideration. Lower grade children can be made to lift up and carry lighter devices within short distances and time. The process of lifting should come first before carrying. Smaller children should be asked to do exercises together with their partners and should be taught the appropriate techniques of grips. Lifting and packing should happen all at once. Packing devices out and back should be done with different students.
