Presenting/ showing tasks

If it is not a teacher or trainer who presents tasks

A skilful student can be asked to do the demonstration/ illustration. This can be done if

• we want to connect a demonstration/ illustration with verbal communication and information
• a teacher cannot do demonstrations/ illustrations for several reasons, for example, because of his/her age, illness, injury or pregnancy,
• a teacher fails to do demonstrations/ illustrations well and properly his/her prestige may erode.

Methodological requirements of demonstrations/ illustrations

• it is advised that students should watch exercises from an appropriate distance
• when standing in front of students teachers/trainers should be performing/imitating exercises as if they were in front of a mirror
