Method of merging exercises and managing them

There are phases that can be left out such as:

  • verbal explanation
  • illustration
  • performing an exercise once
  • correction

Phases that can be merged

  • verbal explanation and illustration (when the exercise is not too difficult or strenuous);
  • performing the exercise once and correct movements;
  • correction and continuous performance of the exercise;

The form of communication: simple/brief verbal explanation

It is advised to use this method when the exercise can be executed within a short time and the process cannot be slowed down.

Sequence of phases: it is simple/short in case of verbal instructions.

  1. specifying starting positions
  2. specifying rhythm /tempo
  3. explaining task rhythm by rhythm while listing the name of movements/motions, their direction and extension. If the exercise can be performed with another limb it should be emphasized.
  4. Ordering students to stand in the starting position, for example, lie down on your stomach!
  5. Start performing the exercise

For example, straddle and put the hands on your nape

1 – 3 rhythm: hopping 3 X

4. rhythm: jump into starting position! 1,2…3 and finish it!
