Table 19: Exercises on the gymnastic box

Starting position: standing, facing the box
1 beat: stepping up on the box with left leg;
2 beat: rise into a single-leg standing position, swinging your right heel backward;
3 beat: bring your right leg to the floor;
4 beat: bring your left leg into the starting position.
Assume the starting position! Start the exercise!
1-2-3-4-right-up-down-together! … 7 and stop!
Stand facing the box! Place your left foot on the box! 1!
Rise into a single-leg standing position, swinging your right heel backward! 2!
Bring your right leg to the floor! 3!
Bring your left leg into the starting position 4!
Repeat in the opposite direction! 5-6-7-8!
Continue the exercise!
1-2-3-4-right-up-down-together! … 7 and stop!
Starting position: standing, facing the box at the side! Assume the starting position!
Your left foot steps on the box! 1!
Rise into a single-leg standing position, swinging your right heel backward! 2!
Bring your right leg to the floor! 3!
Legs together into the starting position! 4!
Now in the opposite direction! 5-6-7-8!
Continue the exercise!
1-2-3-4-right-up-down-together! … 7 and stop!
Starting position: Standing astride, facing the box at the side;
1-2 beat: bending torso forward, grasping the box at its edges;
3-4 beat: straitening torso, bending knees and lifting the box upward, overhead;
5-6 beat: bringing the box down to the front, to shoulder level;
7-8 beat: bending torso forward, straightening the knees, and putting the box on the floor, straightening torso into the starting position.
Assume the starting position! Start the exercise!
1-2-3-4-down-6-7-8! … 7 and stop!
Stand facing the box, legs apart!
Bend your torso forward and grasp the box at its edges! 1-2!
Lifting the box upward and bend your knees! 3-4!
Bring the box down to the front, to shoulder level! 5-6! Bend forward, put the box down, and straighten your torso and knees into the starting position! 7-8!
Continue the exercise!
1-2-3-4-down-6-7-8!.. 7 and stop!
Starting position: Standing astride, facing the box at the side!
Assume the starting position! Bending your torso forward, grasping the box at its edges! 1-2!
Straitening the torso, bending knees and lifting the box upward! 3-4!
The box down to the front, to shoulder level! 5-6!
Bending the torso forward, straightening the knees, the box down, on the floor, the torso back into the starting position! 7-8!
Continue the exercise!
1-2-3-4-down-6-7-8! … 7 and stop!
Starting position: standing astride, the box overhead, at its length;
1 beat: the box lowered to the left shoulder;
2 beat: lifting the box overhead;
3 beat: turning torso to the left, lowering the box to chest level;
4 beat: turning the torso to the front, lifting the box overhead;
5-8 beat: repeat beats 1-4 in the opposite direction.
Assume the starting position! Start the exercise!
1-2-3-4-to the right-up-turn-back! …7 and stop!
Lift the box overhead, holding its longer side!
Lower the box onto your left shoulder! 1!
Lift it up again! 2!
Turn your torso to the left and bring the box to chest level! 3!
Turn your torso back to the front and raise the box into the starting position! 4!
Repeat in the opposite direction! 5-6-7-8!
Continue the exercise!
1-2-3-4-to the right-up-turn-back! …7 and stop!
Starting position: standing astride, the box overhead, at its length!
Assume the starting position!
Lower the box onto your left shoulder! 1!
Lifting the box overhead! 2!
Turning torso to the left, lowering the box to chest level! 3!
Turning the torso to the front, lifting the box overhead! 4! Now in the opposite direction 5-6-7-8!
Continue the exercise!
