Aim

Health is one of the most crucial things in our life. Coming generations should become aware of the benefits of exercises affecting their physical, mental and social health. They should understand the essence of healthy life-style. Fitness tests are suitable for providing feedback of their health and training status. Professionals and PE teachers are striving for equipping their students with skills and competences that help them setting realistic fitness goals. By the time of leaving school learners should know techniques and methods which enable them to preserve their health and learn how to evaluate their own physical fitness, endurance and stamina.

Motivation

The tests that are carried out on a particular person does not offer data only about his/ her physical fitness. The fitness tests that are regularly repeated serve data about students’ physical development as well as the effectiveness of athletes’ trainings. The outcomes allow us to conclude what segments of fitness exercises may improve their performance and achievements. The data and indicators of fitness test measurements are suitable for deciding what kind of sports would be most appropriate for students and what post in a team they should opt for to become successful athletes.
