III.4. Young adult

Motor skill development manifests itself mainly in stabilization (restraint against performance disappears), secondly in gender difference (performance motivation especially applicable to boys) and thirdly in the individual specific motor activity (especially its scope is manifested). The boys choose mainly masculine sports and the girls prefer aesthetic sports that require skill. The physical activity that is chosen at free will is an important motivation for the motor activity.
