V.2. Speed

The speed is a conditional ability when a high speed movement is achieved under given circumstances.  In general speed is not relevant; it has a specific meaning only in context. Its basis is the operation of the neurological system’s regulating processes.

Its practices are mostly specific to a sport because the speed is closely linked to the sport’s techniques. The development of speed means the improvement of the neuromuscular coordination. Since this characteristic is largely hereditary, its development is limited.
