V.2.3. Methodological aspects
- Speed development practices should preferably be carried out in a rested condition in the first half of the main part of the session;
- With children the speed development should be done with games;
- The practices should be tailored to allow the individual to reach his maximum execution speed;
- The training should be done in a way that the will power is directed to the development of speed;
- The duration of the exercise should only be long enough so that fatigue does not cause a significant decrease in speed;
- Provide adequate rest between exercises;
