V.6.4. The two main methods to develop the sense of balance

  1. Application of balancing practices

The goal of these exercises is to maintain balance in a difficult setting. For example, we lose our balance intentionally then try to regain it.

  1. The use of linear and angular speed practices

Both of these practices are important because the versatile use of the vestibular apparatus only works if the linear and rotary motions are applied as basic stimuli. People with less developed sense of balance, the rotating change of position can be more beneficial (Nadori, 1995).
