VI.1.2. Training load

A series of adequate, targeted, planned and correctly administered stimuli which can trigger adjustment processes and changes in the body.

The impact in our environment which arouses the tissues is called stimulus. To create a response, a certain strength and length of time are needed. The weakest stimulus intensity that creates a response is called the stimulus threshold.

We can talk about training load triggered by external stimuli (training work, environmental impact), and internal stimuli (physiological, mental processes).
