III.1. Preschooler
Between 4-7 years the children first go to kindergarten then to school. The first half of this period is characterized by weight gain; while in the second half the growth is related to length (i.e. the face lengthens). The muscles of boys grow stronger than the girls and their chests are also wider. The boys tend to prefer more forceful movements than girls.
