XI.3. The aims of prevention

The following are recommended to be achieved during prevention:

  1. Weight loss
    • Aim: under BMI 30 (27)
  1. A diet low in fat and cholesterol
    • Unsaturated fat at most 10%
    • Consumption of ample fruit and vegetables
    • A high fiber content is important
  1. Regular activity
    • Weekly 3-4 times continuous walking for at least 30 min is enough.
