The development of the speed of young footballers

The characteristics of the speed of footballers: in football, speed is not equal to the running speed; the speed or running is only one element of the speed of the footballer. In football, by speed we mean the speed of the play. A fast player is the one who can play fast.

The elements of the speed of play: reaction speed, sense, recognising the situation, decision, the time between the connection and the start of action, the speed of performance, dynamic power, the knowledge of the technical and tactical elements, mobility, motivation, psychic features.
