The organization of recreation- and sports events
Life is actually a series of events. The joy and success of life mainly depends on our intentions and preparedness. School lessons (mathematics, music or physical education), afterschool or sports club activities, as well as training programmes or sports competitions or recreational programmes and outings are also important parts of our children’s lives. The success of these events is related to their goals, the provision of the necessary equipment, thorough preparation, and the participation of physically and mentally prepared individuals. In the preparatory phase it is of utmost importance to gain the support of parents by demonstrating how carefully the event has been prepared.
The aim of this unit is to describe tasks to be performed in order to prepare and organize sports competitions, recreational programmes, hiking and camping events. This information may serve a good basis for preparing and organizing other similar events.
