Massage tubs
These are plastic tubs placed on a metal frame and equipped with ergonomical points. Before using it the tub has to be filled up with water of 36-40 C. As soon as the water level reaches the level metre, the hydromassage function can be switched on. There are tubes fixed in the wall of the tub and thus their position cannot be changed. The stream of water has to be directed on the body part to be treated. It is important, too, that the water should reach the skin surface from a sideways position. There are some tubes which masage the surface of the given body part, but, there are some, too, which reach deeper tissues and muscles as well. The shape of the tub makes it possible to take a healthy and comfortable body position. The tubes usually masssage patients’ backs, spine, sole, waist and hip.
