T greets SS and asks them not to sit down but form a circle in the classroom.

T: Take one of the colorful flowers. What kind of insect is there in my hand?

S: It’s a bee.

T: This bee flies from flower to flower. When the bee arrives at your flower, you must say the name of a fruit after that pass the bee on your neighbour’s flower. The next student has to say the name of a vegetable or fruit then pass the bee on.  I start the game, I pass the bee to my neighbour and she has to say a vegetable name. PEAR.

T: Watch this flower. This is the stem and you can see the green sepals. They look like small leaves. The petals are bigger and colorful. Inside the flower you can see the reproductive part of the plant: in the middle you can see the female part, its name is pistil. There is the ovary in the pistil and there are eggs inside it. What can you see around the pistil?

S: Stamens.

T: There are more stamens, they are the male parts of the flower. Each stamen has a bag on its top, called anther. There are millions of pollens on it. Pollens have to reach the pistil, this is the essence of pollination.
