The Maastricht Treaty and the emergence of the European Union
Abstract
A tananyag az Európai Uniót (EU) létrehozó Maastrichti Szerződés előkészítéséről, aláírásáról és hatályba léptetéséről szól. Számba veszi, hogy az új szerződés milyen változásokat vezetett be az európai integrációs folyamatba, bemutatja az új intézmény legfontosabb jellemzőit. Kitér az 1995-ben bekövetkezett újabb bővítési hullámra is.
English abstract
The curriculum is about the preparation, signing and ratification of the Maastricht Treaty establishing the European Union (EU). It takes stock of the changes that the new treaty has introduced to the European integration process, presents the key features of the new institution. It also covers the new wave of enlargement in 1995.
