On the basis of the arm movement:
- arms crossing in front of the body

- swinging behind knee
On the basis of leg movement and leg swings:
- legs spread
- touching the heel and toes, crossings
- knee lifts and leg swings
On the basis of turns around vertical axis:
- 90-degree turn
- 180-degree turn
- 270-degree turn
- 360-degree turn
Acrobatic elements:
- support positions and tilts
- handsprings on the side, forward and backward
- somersaults, rundel
Combined elements:
Elements, in which we can find the movement characteristics of at least two groups of elements. One element must be a swing-type except for the basic swing.
There are single- and double-rope exercises.
Double-rope exercises (Double-Dutch) are the most spectacular, but most complicated exercises in rope jumping, so, in a group competition, it is very important that the skippers have trained a lot together. (Ferenczy, 1999)
