Research and development in the EU
Abstract
Aim of the course is to introduce the history and functioning of research and development and innovation in the EU and in its relevant policy. By accomplishing the course, students will be able to understand the basic concepts in relation to research, technological development and innovation; to identify the history, the institutional background, the financing and the perspectives of research, technological development and innovation in the EU; and to read and interpret the basic documents of the EU’s research and development policy.
