Special types of motion

The description of motion in general can be pretty difficult. The acceleration may change with time, resulting in a variation of the velocity and the position the precise description of which would require advanced skills in differential calculus.

For this reason, we shall restrict ourselves to two special types of motion: uniform motion and linear motion with constant acceleration.
