Kinematics of circular motion

The description of circular motion is twofold: we can still use the general kinematical quantities position, velocity and acceleration, but many times it is convenient to make use of the fact that though circular motion takes place in two dimensions, the radius is constant and thus we can reduce the position to a single spherical coordinate. We shall call the quantities derived from this spherical coordinate angular quantities.
